Submarine Sampi (WIP)
!EXTREMELY WORK IN PROGRESS LONG-TERM PROJECT! Sampi ("Sturgeon") is a fictional 1930's era Finnish Navy submarine, largely based on / inspired by the German type VII-C U-boats and the Finnish submarine Vesikko. I've worked on this project on and off for a couple years and will continue to work on it well into the future, as Brickadia is still missing features that are absolutely essential for this project, most obvious ones including the ability to remove water from the interiors, custom camera functionality for functional periscopes, the ability to read grid position/rotation and the ability to apply relative velocity (current system to achieve that is comically complex). If we do eventually get the said features, I'll see to it that I'll make some kind of tutorial for operating the submarine. Currently it's operation is quite simplified with all 5 ballast tanks being controlled as one and there being no manual engine controls or full pressurized air system beyond just a main blow valve and trimming / regulating devices and a diesel air compressor. There's also no functional torpedo system beyond the ability to open and close the torpedo tubes. Valves and wheels are operated on a "click and hold the left/right side" basis (left to decrease, right to increase).
